Web Design

Below are screen shots of some web sites that I have designed and administer. Fun, colorful, easy to navigate, and informative are all key elements of my approach to web design. Non-cluttered and simple, readable and accessible. My training is not from a college or credit classes, instead my skills have been honed by an earnest interest in learning as much as possible on my own through online tutorials, library books, reading source code, forums, and e-groups. Therefore my rates are very reasonable for web design, logo creation, display ads, banners, and more. If you are interested in learning more about my services, or contracting me for your project, just drop me a line on my contact page.

If you would like a free estimate for web design, you can start by filling in my Web Client Questionnaire (PDF). You can fill this in on your computer. Just click on the "Submit by Email" button at the end.

Jungle Gym

The Jungle Gym is my sister-in-law's business in Chicago, IL which opened in October 2006. This was a fun project because it combined several things that I enjoy - kids, fitness, bright colors and fun. I currently administer this site.

In addition to being the Jungle Gym web girl, I am the primary graphic artist and create a variety of display ads, brochures, info sheets, forms, and more.

  Rec Sports screen shot

Rec Sports screen shotTo the left is the current site for Rec Sports, launched in April 2007. The navigation bubbles on the left and the Facility Hours links are both Flash. The mini-ads in the right column change with every page load and link to the appropriate programs. This is the third site design that I made for Rec Sports. To the right is a shot from a page beyond the front, showing the navigation on the left as text, but still within the theme of the site.

This is the second site design that I made for Rec Sports in 2003. I shot the photos, created the collage and design at the top. The Quick Links navigation on the right changed depending on which program area you were visiting, while maintaining static navigation along the top and bottom of each page.
Prof. David Aune web site This is Professor David Aune's personal & professional web site at Notre Dame. This is one of the first sites that I designed, recently updated to include techniques I have learned since I started web design. I currently administer this site.
Windhorse Frames & Gallery IN PROGRESS: I am currently working the Windhorse Frames & Gallery web site.
